PikeMurdy is now home to a collection of photos, drawings, writing and links to other sites. It’s kind of like one of those “blog” things I’ve been hearing so much about.
PikeMurdy is powered by WordPress, a very powerful, yet free, content management tool. There are alternatives out there, but if you don’t want to mess with a bunch of perl, I heartily recommend it.
Mike Purdy is responsible for all the photos and drawings that are published on PikeMurdy.com.
Purdy currently lives in the small city of Knoxville, Tennessee and he grew up in the even smaller town of Harriman, forty minutes outside Knoxville. He reads, he writes, and draws frantically and is currently trying to get in touch with his southern roots by learning to store bacon fat and deep fry everything.
PikeMurdy is an anagram of Mike Purdy (obviously). Pike is a fictional character co-created by Jackson Hall and Purdy. Pike is folk singer and is pretty much a legend in these here parts.
If you have any questions, please email the editor. This website is pretty much a one-man-show. So mistakes, both in grammar and facts, are made. If you spot one, a “heads up” is appreciated.
Questions concerning Quentin will probably not be answered, as development has ceased (but I sincerely thank you for your interest and support).
